Welcome to House of Adventures—a growing collective of storytellers, dice-rollers, rule-benders, and fantasy-lovers based in Kolkata. What started as a casual home server has now evolved into a full-fledged community of passionate players and dedicated Game Masters, united by one goal: to make tabletop role-playing games accessible, welcoming, and wildly fun for everyone.
WHO ARE WE
What started as a humble Discord server among friends—each fueled by a love for storytelling and inspired by actual play legends like Critical Role—soon became something much bigger. United by curiosity and a shared desire to dive into the world of Dungeons & Dragons, our early sessions were full of learning, laughter, and the kind of chaos only new adventurers can create.
But the magic didn’t stay contained for long. Word spread, more players joined, and before we knew it, House of Adventures had grown into a thriving community of TTRPG enthusiasts—welcoming veterans, first-timers, and everyone in between.
In the summer of 2023, we took a bold step beyond the virtual tabletop and hosted our very first D&D event in Kolkata. It was more than just a game event—it was the beginning of a dream. And from there? The adventure only grew.
WHAT WE DO
House of Adventures is dedicated to building an inclusive, imaginative, and community-driven space for tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs) in Kolkata. We aim to spark creativity, foster collaborative storytelling, and connect people through immersive role-playing experiences that empower both players and creators. Our mission is to make TTRPGs accessible, exciting, and meaningful for everyone — from curious newcomers to veteran adventurers.

Build a welcoming and supportive hub for TTRPG enthusiasts in Kolkata through regular events, campaigns, and meetups. - Promote Accessibility & Education
Introduce new players to the world of TTRPGs through beginner-friendly sessions, tutorials, and educational content, both in English and regional languages. - Support Game Masters and Creators
Provide resources, training, and platforms for Game Masters (GMs), writers, and artists to design, run, and showcase original content and campaigns. - Grow India's TTRPG Ecosystem
Advocate for the growth of Indian TTRPGs by showcasing local creators, developing original content inspired by Indian mythology and culture, and connecting with the broader global community.
